Bathroom supplier or bathroom fitter: which one are you actually hiring?

← All guides

“Bathroom supplier” and “bathroom fitter” get searched as if they were the same job. They are not. One sells you a suite. The other is asked to make it work in a room they did not specify. The gap between those two is where the money goes.

Supplier

A showroom or a website. You leave with sanitaryware, sometimes a nice tray, and a promise that “any plumber can fit it”. They are not coming to Burnley to look at the soil pipe. When the pan does not meet the stack, that is no longer their department.

Fitter

Labour. Sometimes excellent. Sometimes a day rate and a hope. If you supplied the suite, the fitter can fairly say the leak is the tray you bought. You are then back on the phone to a supplier who says it was fitted wrong.

Supply and install

That is us. The survey, the panel or the tile, the suite and the installation are one contract. Panelled bathrooms start from £5,999. Signature, on the current Aqua Wall introductory offer, is £6,999. Tiled bathrooms start from £7,999. Accessible work, including a bath-to-shower conversion, starts from £3,999. The survey turns that into a figure for the actual room.

FAQ

Quick answers

Is it cheaper to buy the suite and hire a fitter?+

The till receipt is often lower. The risk is higher. Wastes, trays and tap holes that do not match become your problem, and the guarantee splits in half.

Are you a supplier or a fitter?+

Both. We design, supply and install. One quote, one company, one guarantee.

Can I still choose the products?+

Yes. Panels, furniture and brassware are choices inside the package. They are named on the quote, not swapped for whatever was in the van.
