Aqua Wall panels or hollow-core PVC: what you are actually buying

← All guides

“Bathroom panels” covers everything from a light hollow board to a solid composite that feels closer to a tile in the hand. If a quote just says panels, ask which ones. The photograph can look similar. The wall will not.

Studio: hollow-core PVC

Lighter boards, a faster install, and the same design conversation about furniture, brassware and layout. This is the right edition when you want the look and you do not need a solid-core panel under your hand. Fully panelled packages in this specification start from £5,999.

Signature: Aqua Wall 6mm

Solid-core SPC. Waterproof, sturdier, and a range of boards — Olympus Matt, Taranaki, Tempest and the rest — that you can mix, including a feature wall in a different panel from the same range. Introductory price £6,999.

Bespoke: 9mm solid core

The thicker classic wet-room board, from £9,999, when you want the heaviest panel specification and the longer guarantee that goes with that edition.

FAQ

Quick answers

What is Aqua Wall?+

Aqua Wall is the 6mm solid-core stone polymer composite panel we use on the Signature Edition. Boards are 2400 × 950mm, waterproof and click-fit, with a more solid feel than hollow PVC.

Is hollow PVC a lesser bathroom?+

It is a different specification. Studio uses hollow-core PVC and starts from £5,999. It can look excellent. It does not feel like a solid board when you knock it.

Are Signature panels reduced at the moment?+

Yes. Signature is on an introductory offer: £6,999 rather than £7,999, to launch the Aqua Wall range. The survey still confirms the room before that price is final.
