Case study: traditional house bathroom, Hapton
In a traditional house in Hapton, we transformed a dated bathroom into a warm, contemporary suite — keeping the character of the room while adding modern lighting details that make it feel special every evening.

The brief
Bring a traditional upstairs bathroom up to a modern finish without fighting the architecture. The pointed leaded window under the sloping ceiling was always going to be a feature — so the design leaned into it rather than competing with it.
What we added
An LED floating niche set into the dark textured feature wall, our 4D LED mirror above the vessel basin, and an LED-lit bath panel that gives the tub a soft floating glow. Matte black fittings and large-format light tiles keep the room calm; the charcoal feature wall and window alcove give it depth.
The result
A bathroom that still feels at home in a traditional Hapton house — but lights up like a boutique hotel suite when the LEDs come on. Watch the before-and-after clip above for the full turnaround.
